If you lay down on the ground and look under your kickstand you will see that a tab comes down into a slot and allows some movement but wont let the bike go too far forward or back. 2007 VRSCDX since. All the models used the same pivot block (49720-90). I don't have an '07 parts manual but if H-D continues to use the -90B part number, it is a pretty quick swap. I put longer FXDX style shocks on my '05 and used the FXDX jiffy stand.
