WebYou're thinking of AFFS, which is similar to IPS. The default screen is TN, with a CCFL backlight. Some X200 machines has a TN screen, with a LED backlight. Unfortunately, any X200/X201 that comes with an LED screen must replace their cable and inverter with a CCFL-compatible version to work with AFFS screens. See this link for details.
